Considering to the Ministry’s commitment on fostering an environment conducive to excellence and creativity, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced the launch of online submission for the Iraqi Science Day Awards, which will continue until Sunday, August 10, 2025.

Higher Education reviewed that this year's competitive submissions include a number of diverse awards:

▪️ Distinguished University Award.

▪️ Distinguished Author or Translator Award.

▪️ Distinguished Scientific Journal Award.

▪️ Undergraduate Student Volunteer Award.

▪️ Patents and Intellectual Property Award.

▪️ Distinguished Graduation Project Award.

▪️ Distinguished Research Center Award.

▪️ Distinguished Research Unit Award.

▪️ Distinguished University Library Award.

The Ministry highlighted that basing on our international partnership with Clarivate, we confirms our adoption, for the first time, of Web of Science data to determine the winners of the Distinguished Research, Distinguished Researcher, Distinguished University in Scientific Research and Distinguished Research Evaluator Award.

Higher Education demonstrated that those eligible for submission (https://scday.rdd.edu.iq) are exclusively students and employees of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and that nominated works must be among the 2024 outputs.
