During a meeting with the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Iraq, Mr. Muhammad Zeeshan Ahmad, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi reviewed prospects for scientific and academic cooperation.

During the meeting, the Minister of Education emphasized the importance of developing relations between the two countries' universities and strengthening effective partnerships.

Dr. Al-Aboudi said that the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research adopts a policy of internationalizing education as a strategic pillar for consolidating international partnerships.

His Excellency added that the two sides demonstrated the draft Memorandum of Understanding, which includes provisions to enhance institutional cooperation, exchange of expertise and scholarships that provide opportunities for students and researchers to enroll in specialized academic programs.

For his part, the Pakistani Ambassador expressed his country's interest in expanding fields of academic cooperation, enhancing communication between universities and coordinating specific initiatives that contribute to sustainable scientific relations.
