The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announces on implementing the first overseas system for degree equivalency in the British capital, London, this step is part of its policy aimed at enhancing the efficiency of academic services and facilitating procedures.

His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi directed the expansion of overseas services to meet the needs of students and members of the Iraqi community, as well as providing an efficient and accurate procedural environment that contributes to reduce the time and effort required for equivalency procedures.

In coordination with the Iraqi Embassy and the Cultural Attaché in London Ministerial delegation from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research inaugurated the degree equivalency system within the Scholarships and Cultural Relations Portal to enhance institutional integration and expand the range of quality academic services provided, as well as enabling Iraqi citizens residing in the United Kingdom to complete degree equivalency procedures through the new system.
