College of Education for Women, University of Kufa discussed a Ph.D. thesis on geomorphological hazards and their impact on human activity using modern geographic techniques by the postgraduate student, Ms. Sanaa Abdul Hadi.
The thesis aimed at studying the natural characteristics of the
region and analyzing their relation to geomorphological hazard activity, as
well as relying on modern geographic techniques for analysis and monitoring.
The thesis reviewed the presence of nine water basins of varying
sizes, based on the morphometric study conducted.
