In cooperation with the University of Arizona in the United States of America, College of Arts, University of Mosul launched a project on the teaching methods of English Language to non-native speakers. The project reviewed developing students' skills in speaking, listening, comprehension and academic writing. The project aimed at enhancing four students ’skills in speaking and listening as well as academic comprehension and writing and qualifying them at the conclusion of the project to obtain an international certificate in the methods of teaching English Language to non-native speakers. It is worth mentioning that the project is the first project of its kind at the university, that the expenses of which have been fully covered for the benefit of the participants, in order to make the two universities to enhance joint cooperation to be a starting point for more future projects to develop the university's academic capabilities.
