A master’s dissertation was discussed in the College of Science, University of Wasit on preparing and studying of the physical and mechanical properties of the polyaniline/alumina (Micro-Nano) composite by the postgraduate student, Mr. Saddam Alwan Rasan. The dissertation reviewed preparing of polyaniline by chemical polymerization method via using aniline hydrochloride monomer dissolved in acid water and ammonium sulfate dissolved in distilled water and the prepared polymer was diagnosed by infrared spectroscopy. The dissertation highlighted that the preparation of composites via adding fixed amounts of (0.01, 0.03, 0.05) alumina particles g (0.01, 0.03, 0.05) Nano and Micro. The dissertation also reviewed that the positions of the active groups of the polyaniline polymer were identical with its chemical composition. The dissertation concluded that the energy gap values for the allowed direct transfer of Nano- and Micro-composites are smaller than that of the pure polymer and decrease with the increase in the content of additives due to the emergence of new local levels within the forbidden gap and that these values for the Nano-complexes are lower than for the Micro-compositions at the same concentrations due to the quantitative restriction properties.
