College of Engineering, Al-Iraqia University held an online workshop on designing of a renewable energy system, as well as reviewing the economic and technical considerations. The online workshop demonstrated the HOMER program and the ETAP program, the importance of each program and how to benefit from them. The workshop reviewed the characteristics of renewable energy, methods of calculating its volumes that was used in the electrical system and how to calculate the other electrical parts that was used in the establishment of the system.
