A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Health and Medical Technology- Basra, Southern Technical University on the genetic variant of the HLA-B27 Gene associated with ankylosing spondylitis patients by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Noor Al-Huda Kareem. The study reviewed the distribution and rate of HLA-B27 in patients of subtyping of the HLA-B27 Gene, as well as the distribution is based on geographic region, ethnicity and ancestry for partial autoimmunity detection via NLRP3. The study aimed at measuring NLRP3 in patients before taking treatment, detecting of the rate of subtyping of the HLA-B27 Gene in northern and central Iraq and the detection of other Genes associated with patients.
