Center of Environmental Research, University of Mosul held an online symposium on implementing nanotechnology widely in addressing environmental and health issues. The online symposium highlighted an overview of the history and development of nanotechnology and what are the materials, nanostructures and properties of nanomaterial, as well as the dangers of Nano- pollution and the importance of nanotechnology in health and environmental fields. The online symposium reviewed the role of nanotechnology in combating the Corona epidemic, filtering water and disposing of dissolved salts, as well as treating oil pollutants via using nanotechnology and green environmental applications of nanotechnology.
