During an online meeting with the Act- Deputy of the Ministry of Health, Dr. Hani Al-Uqabi and according on the directives of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib, the Committee of Deans of Dental Colleges reviewed number of axes related to joint cooperation and institutional integration between the Ministries of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Health. The Committee highlighted that online meeting, which was moderated by the Head of the Dental Deans Committee, Dr. Donia Wadih, also reviewed seven requirements and priorities related to the upcoming academic year and levels of clinical training, as well as reviewing the possibility of transferring the work of those desiring from the Ministry of Health to institutions of Higher Education. For his part, Dr. Al-Uqabi expressed the Ministry of Health’s appreciation for Higher Education and the specialized academic committees’ keenness on cooperating and facilitating the integration aspects via specialized work programs that serve the academic and health fields in Iraq.
