During a participating in the graduation 32nd  session of the academic year 2021/2022 ceremony and the 35th anniversary of Anbar University,  His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr.  Naeem Abd Yaser Al-Aboudi called on concerting and multiplying efforts towards drawing and developing successful educational plans and strategies that can be implemented over the coming years, which are already witnessing clear quantitative indicators in the numbers of students enrolled in Higher Education’s environment that will approach one million students in 2030. Dr. Al-Aboudi added that these indicators require intensification at the level of procedures and measures responsible for treatment, the details of which are no less than the establishment of new universities, the development of the absorptive capacity of existing institutions and work vigorously to move from spaces of quantity to spaces of quality and accreditation. His Excellency highlighted that the Iraqi university institutions no longer have only ambitions and academic programs confined to the local environment, that the indicators of their global interaction are no longer hidden from observers and followers who read the level of performance, global publication data, the results of international rankings’ as well as UNESCO's praise for the important transformation of educational systems in Iraqi universities besides the excellence in the field of close cooperation with United Nations programs, especially in the field of joint projects that have a direct impact in the field of training and skills development. Dr. Al-Aboudi honored the top students and congratulating them on their graduation and wishing them a journey full of giving and excellence. For his part, President of Anbar University, Dr. Mushtaq Talib Al-Nada said that the University, after its liberation from the filth of the terrorists of Daaish, started working on the reconstruction and rehabilitation of its buildings under the direct supervision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the support of some donors, as well as the university has achieved scientific and research achievements and positive indicators at the level of  international rankings. It is wroth mentioning that the ceremony was attended by the Governor of Anbar, Ali Farhan Al-Dulaimi, a number of members of the Iraqi Parliament and University Presidents, as well as the ceremony witnessed the performance of the graduation oath for the graduated students and the chanting of the medical oath for the graduates of the College of Medicine.
