During a meeting with the headed of German Agency for Development Cooperation and the Economic Development Group in Iraq, Mr. Marcel Vanhoven and his accompanying delegation, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib reviewed joint cooperation in the field of higher education in Iraq and the possibility of supporting and providing of the necessary expertise to establish e-governance laboratories in the Iraqi universities. His Excellency said that the Ministry is working on supporting graduates via rehabilitation and employment centers in cooperation with international organizations, such as the German Agency for Development Cooperation. For his part, Mr. Marcel Vanhoven said that the agency is working according to joint programs with Higher Education, especially in renewable energy projects in Basrah. Mr. Vanhoven added that there are programs that have priority in the implementation, which is cooperation in the technological field because of its importance in light of the Corona epidemic.
