During a meeting with the delegation of the Iraqi Al-Amal Association headed by Executive Director, Mr. Jamal Al-Jawahiri and his accompanying delegation, His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib called on promoting studies pertaining to peace and the culture of peaceful coexistence. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib reviewed the importance and impact of the specialized studies in spreading peace and developing a culture of peaceful coexistence in the country. His Excellency said that there is an urgent need for specific programs in the field of human rights and peace-making. Dr. Abid Al-Sahib stressed on that the Iraqi university institutions are keen on providing the appropriate academic environment via holding scientific conferences and specialized workshops. For his part, Mr. Al-Jawahiri confirmed that the Association is continuing working and cooperating with the Iraqi universities and colleges via the official website of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
