The faculty member in the College of Education for Humanities, University of Diyala published a book entitled (Autism), which reviewed the nature, diagnosis, and methods of treatment of autism. The book highlighted the nature of autism in general since early childhood and what are the most important aspects that characterize and define autistic children, as well as identifying these aspects represent a great importance in the diagnostic processes, especially since some of these aspects are similar to the symptoms of other types of disabilities such as mental retardation and schizophrenia. The book also reviewed the most important differences between autism and other disorders, as well as providing diagnosing and preparing appropriate training programs for these children and taking into considerations the general manifestations of the disease.
