During an honoring ceremony of Arid Scientific Platform, 2020, the faculty member in the College of Engineering, Al-Iraqia University, Dr. Mwafaq Shia'a Alwan reviewed that he was honored by Arid with two medals, the first is for an initiator researcher and the second is for an activist medal. Dr. Alwan added that the honoring included all the academics who participated in the international platform symposiums, conferences, workshops, lectures, scientific forums, exhibitions that reflecting the researcher's communicative personality and interests in increasing knowledge and building research relations with scientists, experts and researchers. Dr. Alwan continued by saying that the Aird Platform is an international non-profit scientific platform in which a number of researchers, experts and scholars who speak the Arabic language can participate in order to exchange experiences, as well as keeping pace with the latest developments in various fields in order to achieve development in Arab Community.
