College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Diyala held a symposium on thermodynamics of refrigeration.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, delivered a lecture on the scientific basics in generating cooling and comparing it with the internal combustion engines used to generate mechanical work.
The symposium reviewed the main components of cooling system, role of each part in the generation cycle, identifying different cooling devices, clarifying the four cooling stages and possibility of some devices to generate cooling or heating as desired.
