During a meeting with the delegation of Russian Embassy to Baghdad, Basra University of Oil and Gas reviewed providing training for Iraqi scholars in the Russian universities and exchanging experiences in oil and gas industry, President of the University, Dr. Ali Mohsin Al-Mashat said.
Dr. Al-Mashat added that the meeting also reviewed mechanisms of scientific exchanging with universities, research centers and Russian oil companies in Iraq in the field of oil and gas extractive and transfer industry and exchanging experiences in the field of energy.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting included enhancing academic cooperation with the Russian universities in the field of enginery to support the university in the research and training fields.
