During the 1st International Scientific Online Conference on the national strategy to address the phenomenon of domestic violence, Basrah University for Oil and Gas reviewed the most prominent scientific efforts made to address the phenomenon of domestic violence in the Arab region and how to protect society from various forms of violence. The online conference delivered (16) scientific researches in various scientific fields, such as human, social, educational, economic and philosophical for specialists in the security, societal and academic fields. The online conference highlighted strengthening religious awareness, devoting values through the media, curricula and educational institutions in the community, activating family education materials and the rights of individuals in the community, as well as mechanisms for activating dialogue programs in the media for regions where family violence is frequent.
