College of Pharmacy, University of Basrah held an online symposium on the extent of children's infection with the Corona Virus via Zoom Platform, the Faculty Member in the College, Dr. Noor Muhammed said. Dr. Muhammed added that the online symposium reviewed that the children are less susceptible to infection, so there is no need for panic or excessive fear, methods of prevention and sterilization must be followed to reduce the spread of disease and enhance immunity, which is necessary to reduce infection or decrease the complications in case of infection. Dr. Muhammed demonstrated that the online symposium also reviewed that the infected children rate is lower than the adults and the severity of the disease is between light and medium for their stronger immune system than the adults and the low rate of mixing with people, as well as the low rate of the enzyme-converting angiotensin II, which has a role in the quick infection.
