Anbar University’s Master's Dissertation: On Molybdenum Metal Complexes Preparation

A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Science, University of Anbar on the preparation and characterization of molybdenum metal complexes with dual-grant nitrogen and sulfur ligands by the postgraduate student, Mr. Iyad Aboud Monajed. The dissertation reviewed preparing of a group of complexes of molybdenum metal with mixed ligands of stylacetone, diaminobenzoic acid, dithioxamide, bipyridine and hydrazinopyridine. The dissertation highlighted he diagnosis of the complexes prepared via using techniques including (ultraviolet - visible, infrared, mass spectrometry, molar conductivity and HNMR), where these complexes are of great importance because they are considered an anti-microbial agent as well as an anti-cancer agent and have other medical and pharmacological applications.
