A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Science, Anbar University on comparing mechanical properties of fibrous and particulate composites by postgraduate student, Mr. Mustafa Hamdi Ismaeil. The thesis aimed at manufacturing fibrous compositions of Rockwool and fibers glass, as well as particulate compositions of iron and copper particles that can be used as containers for storing acids, Alkaline and other liquids. The thesis reviewed the mechanical properties of the manufactured samples, besides a clear improvement in those properties when reinforcing with fibers and particulates.
