College of Science, University of Al-Mustansiriya organized an online workshop on preparing video lectures using Microsoft PowerPoint via Free Conference Call Application, Dean of the College, Dr. Mohammed Faraj Shathar said. Dr. Shathar added that the online workshop reviewed how to use the Microsoft PowerPoint program and investing it in preparing and displaying video lectures for students, in order to make the e-learning experience that the Ministry called on implementing it in Iraqi universities. Dr. Shathar highlighted that the online workshop also reviewed the steps to be followed when creating interactive video presentations and the mechanism of linking them to external files to create an infinite number of slides, the ways of inserting images, as well as how to make adjustments, audio additions and picture effects. Dr. Shathar continued by saying that the online workshop demonstrated a practical application in converting the presentation files, such as the educational lectures for faculty members, into video files in various formats and how to communicate them to students via educational platforms and available electronic channels.
