A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Administration and Economics, University of Al-Iraqia on the integration of renewable energy and Internet of Things technology and its role in reducing costs by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Sorra Adel Abdullah. The dissertation aimed at analyzing the cognitive concepts of renewable energy, reviewing its economic benefits and the differences between it and traditional energy, identifying its sources and studying and analyzing the cognitive concepts of Internet of Things technology. The dissertation highlighted the possibility of achieving integration between renewable energy and Internet of Things technology, the benefits of this synergy and the prospects it brings to the entire energy sector, as well as a statement of the application of the integration between renewable energy and Internet of Things technology and its role in reducing costs in the research sample. The dissertation recommended the necessity of providing investment requirements in renewable energies, including infrastructure, financial, material, human and technical resources in order to encourage investment in these energies and the use of Internet of Things technology.
