Directorate of Atomic Energy Affairs, merged Ministry of Science and Technology participated in a training course on the analysis of the IMS data and the International Data Center (IDC) products, Vienna.
The course aimed at developing the capabilities of the International Data Center for the Member States in the monitoring and analysis of seismic waves, how to use the GEOTOOL program and inferring and differentiating between earthquakes resulting from natural earthquakes or from nuclear events.
The course reviewed the importance of communicating with the Comprehensive Test Ban Treaty via providing training programs, reviewing new hardware, data and information and data after updating the NDC-in-a-BOX version of the IDC.
