Karbala University’s Master’s Dissertation: On Successful Digital Marketing Banking Elements

A master’s dissertation was discussed in the College of Administration and Economics, University of Karbala on the digital marketing banking successful elements and its impact on the mental positioning by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ghazi Faisal Al-Bair. The dissertation reviewed the role of the elements for the success of digital banking marketing in the mental positioning of commercial banks in Iraq. The dissertation highlighted the effect of the dimensions of the independent variable (attraction, absorption, retention, learning and communication), as well as the effect of the dimensions of the dependent variable, mental positioning, which included (cognitive, social, behavioral and psychological). The dissertation demonstrated a sample of workers in the marketing departments of (12) private banks in the governorates of the Middle Euphrates. The dissertation also reviewed that digital marketing tools clearly affect the mental positioning of commercial banks operating in the central Euphrates governorates, as the percentage of influence according to the response of the sample members was high, which indicated that banks adopt the idea of digital marketing and seek to employ it clearly. The dissertation recommended the need to focus on training employees of the Marketing Department to deal with the changes and current global marketing policies and tools because of this clear impact on the progress of commercial banks.
