A faculty member in the College of Remote Sensing, and Geophysics, Al-Karkh University of Sciences, Dr. Ahmed Askar Najaf obtained the sixth rank in the list of the 10 top professors of organic geochemistry according to the Google search engine with advanced factor H-Index.
Dr. Najaf said that the achievement will serve Iraq via expanding the circle of oil and geochemical explorations, urging the researchers to submit the recognized researches in different scientific fields and supporting the educational process in supporting such specialties with special sources of the research projects.
It is worth mentioning that the geochemical researches and studies represented a source of economic support for the country through the mineral explorations and discoveries, especially Iraq is the rich land in undiscovered raw materials.
