Department of Environment and Water, merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on the applications of Zeta potential in the field of water treatment.
The lecture reviewed Zeta effort as one of the important physical potential that fall within the efficiency of coagulation as the first step in determining the efficiency of water treatment plant.
The lecture also reviewed the effect of Zeta's potential in determining the appropriate concentration of thrombotic chemicals such as hydrothermal aluminum sulphate and iron chloride, relation of Zeta potential to the movement of particles in the solution and how to find value through mathematical equation.
