Department of Information Technology, merged Ministry of Science and Technology held a workshop on electronic passport and information security.
The workshop, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the importance of the electronic passport in facilitating the travel process and designing a security system of digital documents via using watermark to overcome the possibility of tampering with the original document.
