Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research announced on launching the Iraqi standards for the quality of Higher Education’s laboratories in its second updated version in light of the national standards of the good educational laboratory GLP. Higher Education reviewed that the updated standards were issued according to the direction of His Excellency, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Nabeel Kadim Abid Al-Sahib included provisions aimed at improving the laboratory environment as part of the requirements for obtaining specialized program accreditation. Higher Education highlighted that the updated version, which was accomplished by the Supervision and Scientific Evaluation Apparatus, included international standards for laboratories and their environment, clarifying their general, organizational and technical requirements and safety and quality assurance requirements that must be provided in scientific, research and service laboratories affiliated to the formations of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research.
