During the workshop entitled (Assessing the E-learning Experience in Iraq - Challenges and Solutions) by the Council of Advisers in the Council of Ministers in cooperation with the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Ministry of Education and the Mesopotamian Valley Association, Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research confirmed on that the adoption of the flexible blended education model helped Iraqi universities in increasing the number of students to one million and sixty-seven thousand, the Advisor of the Ministry, Dr. Alaa Abd Al-Hassan said. Dr. Abd Al-Hassan added that the universities have absorbed an increase in student numbers up to additional 25% to the absorptive capacity of educational institutions for the academic year 2020-2021. Dr. Abd Al-Hassan highlighted that the workshop demonstrated the experience of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Ministry of Education with the international experiences in this field and the requirements of scientific stabilization, as well as concluding the workshop with a number of targeted scientific recommendations. For his part, the coordinator of the Ministerial Team for Digital Learning in the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Amir Salim Al-Amir reviewed that the success that was achieved by Higher Education was based on basic data, namely faculty members, students, quality of curricula and the good management during crisis. , where everyone jointly worked to achieve a distinctive national project without canceling or disrupting any phase of the university academic year, as well as the UNESCO accompanied the steps of achievement achieved in the Iraqi experience in managing electronic educational attainment at the level of higher education in Iraq.
