A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Medicine, University of Diyala on detecting of the serum cytokines Interleukin-10 and Interleukin-6 to predict the severity of the disease in Corona virus patients by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Inaam Ali Abd Al-Abbas. The dissertation aimed at assessing the role of interleukin-10, interleukin-6, lymphocyte count, clotting factor, acute phase proteins and renal functions in patients with the Corona virus. The dissertation demonstrated the presence of a significant increase in interleukin-10 and interleukin-6 in the new Corona virus patients with cardiovascular diseases compared to the new Corona virus patients without cardiovascular diseases.
