College of Petroleum and Gas Engineering, University of Basra for Oil & Gas organized a workshop on the sensors of oil production.
The workshop, in which a number of researchers, specialists and students participated, included delivering a lecture on the importance of the sensors of oil production in south of Iraq, monitoring the production and reservoir performance control and well condition in terms of corrosion of lining and quality of cement behind the lining as well as using of these sensors in developing plans to improve production and addressing issues related with production.
The workshop reviewed the required information about the condition of the well during completion drilling of the well or other processes, such as measuring the depth of the well, measuring the diameter of the well, the depth of the lining, the quality and strength of the cement and its height behind the lining and degree of AC of oil well.
