Center for Basrah and Arabian Gulf Studies, University of Basrah organized a symposium on evaluating tourism investment in the marshes of southern Iraq and their impact on employment by the faulty member, Mr. Naji Sari Faris. The symposium aimed at evaluating the experience and reviewing the most important elements available for tourism investment in the marshes of southern Iraq. The symposium highlighted the role of the tourism sector in employing manpower and increasing per capita income.
