College of Agriculture, University of Basra delivered a lecture on treating dry and desert lands in Faw district.
The lecture, in which a number of researchers and farmers participated, reviewed some of the appropriate treatments and solutions that can be applied via cultivating the areas where the vegetation has dried up, methods of preserving water from evaporation and avoiding soil salinity and degradation.
