College of Administrative and Economics, University of Baghdad organized a symposium on the role of the agricultural economy in reforming the agricultural sector in Iraq.
The symposium, in which a number of faculty members and researchers participated, touched on the role of the colleges in providing the specialized institutions with the specialists and competencies who precipitated in setting the economic plans to address the agricultural issues as well as their role in sobering the academic level of the students and finding real opportunities to involve them in the field work.
The symposium included a number of axes, developing the agricultural policies in Iraq, local investment enhancing, foreign investment, animal production, agricultural marketing, agricultural tenure, water resources and agricultural mechanization.
