A master's dissertation was discussed in the College of Science, University of Anbar on the analysis of the effect of gold nanoparticles on the gene expression of cell wall and portfolio genes in the antibiotic- Klebsiella pneumoniae by the postgraduate student, Mr. Ahmed Ghazi Hamad. The dissertation reviewed the isolation and diagnosis of Klebsiella pneumoniae and the testing of its resistance to antibiotics. The dissertation highlighted that the process of preparing gold nanoparticles by physical methods, studying their properties and researching their effectiveness against Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria. The dissertation also reviewed the synergistic effect between gold nanoparticles and antibiotics, and then studying the gene expression of the mRNA of the genes mrdB, ompA, cps, dfrA, blaTEM and tetR of Klebsiella pneumoniae bacteria before and after treatment with gold nanoparticles.
