College of Engineering, University of Al-Qadisiyah organized an online workshop on heat transfer without energy consumption. The online workshop aimed at using modern technologies for heat transfer without consuming energy, providing lower costs, a safe environment, and no need to maintain many engineering systems. The online workshop highlighted that the heat pipe lasts for a long time and does not require mechanical or electrical energy to transfer heat, provides lower operating costs, is environmentally safe and does not require maintenance. The online workshop reviewed that the heat pipe technology was used by NASA in space and atomic energy reactors, as well as to cool the rotating plates of turbines and remove snow accumulated on external roads to benefit from the heat emitted from the ground.
