Iraqi Center for Genetics and Cancer Research, University of Al-Mustansiriyah organized an online symposium on cancer stem cells via Free Conference Room application. The online symposium, in which 1655 researchers, faculty members and specialists participated, reviewed the mechanism of the cancer stem cells behavior in various cancerous conditions, the importance of eliminating these cells to provide safe and more efficient chemical and radiological treatments and increasing the rates of patient recovery, as well as reviewing the latest research and scientific developments in this field.
