College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Kirkuk discussed a master dissertation on controlling mechanisms of super-magnetic Nano-particles coated with polymers in biological applications by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Wafaa Aidan Abdul Latif. The dissertation aimed at preparing of super-magnetic Nano-particles of Fe3O4 iron oxide coated with SPIONs-PEI biopolymer via chemical method. The dissertation highlighted that the super-magnetic nanoparticles coated with SPIONs-PEI polymer have crystal structure and are within the range of Nano-materials. The dissertation demonstrated that the ZP zeta voltage showed that the Nano-particles before encapsulation were negative about -33.16mV and the Nano-particles coated with polyethylene amine polymer had a positive charge after encapsulation of 28.49Mv. The dissertation concluded with the necessity of conducting a future study via using the prepared and coated Nano-particles as inhibiting other living organisms and conducting experiments on them and targeting the coated Nano-particles directly via using the external magnetic field.
