Center of Continuous Education, Basra University of Oil and Gas organized a training course on the occupational safety in oil institutions.
The course, in which a number of specialists and students participated, aimed at identifying the principles of occupational safety in oil institutions, methods of protecting workers in factories and work establishments from laboratory accidents, training safety staffs to deal with fires and accidents and providing first aid for them.
The course reviewed the most important preventive procedures in the work environment, how to maintain the physical component in the oil installations and enhance safety features in work sites and laboratories.
