College of Biotechnology, University of Al-Qadisiyah held an online symposium on antibiotics and their impact in the human body. The online symposium reviewed how the antibiotic works in the human body, the risks posed by its use and the extent of its effect, as well as the extent of its resistance to microbes. The online symposium recommended the necessity of raising the levels of health awareness among patients and avoiding unhealthy methods in the use of anti-drugs, which may contribute to the emergence of a new anti-antibiotic, which weakens the immune system in patients.
