College of Education, University of Wasit organized a symposium on the importance of new cities.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers, specialists and postgraduates participated, aimed at highlighting the experiences of developed countries in building new cities to address the problem of housing in large cities.
The symposium reviewed the British experience after the World War II in creating new cities instead of the destroyed cities.
