College of Agriculture, University of Basra held a symposium on the effect of adding selenium and vitamin E in some of productive and physiological characteristics of small ruminants.
The symposium reviewed the effect of the addition selenium and vitamin E in different levels and features, measuring concentration in serum and pulmonary function on ruminants, its effect on performance, physiological response, selenium balance under thermal stress and concentrations of other mineral elements.
The symposium recommended adding rare mineral elements such as calcium and vitamin E because of their great role in health, production and immunity as antioxidants.
