A research team in the Technical College-Al-Musayyib, Al-Furat Al-Awsat Technical University obtained a patent on manufacturing a device for soil surface roughness detecting via using computing technology. The patent, in which granted by the Central Organization for Standardization and Quality Control Unit of the Ministry of Planning, reviewed that the device included an electrical circuit containing sensors, a microprocessor circuit and an computing server that works on a soil surface roughness graph via using IOT technology with a sample size of 0.8 - 50 meters as well as detecting depth of tillage with high accuracy. The patent highlighted the actual depth of tillage while drawing the soil surface shape for any part of the earth's surface via using the Internet of Things technology.
