Department of Refrigeration and Air-Conditioning in the Technical College -Kirkuk, Northern Technical University held a symposium on the role of heat-isolation materials in rationalizing energy consuming for the purposes of refrigeration and air-conditioning. The symposium reviewed types of thermal insulation used to isolate buildings, how to choose the optimum thickness for the heat insulation layer in various governorates, as well as the role of these materials in reducing the electricity bill and the environmental load resulting from the use of energy.
