Department of Environment and Water merged Ministry of Science and Technology delivered a lecture on the zero discharge of water in terms of techniques and analysis.
The lecture, in which a number of specialists participated, reviewed the basic concepts of water zero discharge and the importance of reuse of discharged water from industrial plants, power plants, oil extraction areas and cooling towers, which usually consume large amounts of water as well as the application of these concepts in addressing water scarcity, environmental sustainability and economic feasibility of water zero discharge via optimal selection of appropriate techniques for treating water.
