Technical College of Engineering- Baghdad, Middle Technical University organized the 3^rd International Scientific Online Conference on Sustainable Engineering via the Zoom Meeting platform, President of the University, Dr. Abdul Mohsin Naji Al-Muhaisen said. Dr. Al-Muhaisen added that holding the conference during the current circumstances is a challenge in term of what Iraq and the world are witnessing of Corona's epidemic. Dr. Al-Muhaisen continued by saying the university’s keenness on academic communication and the holing conference. For his part, head of the preparatory committee for the conference, Dr. Nabil Jameel said that the conference hosts 352 studies that were evaluated from inside and outside Iraq and 199 studies were accepted after the scientific reviewers agreed to adopt them to be delivered at the conference, as well as reviewing that there only 6 researches from outside Iraq were participated. For his part, Permanent Representative of Iraq to UNESCO, Dr. Mahmoud Shaker Al-Mulla Khalaf reviewed the goals of sustainable engineering, including good education, eliminating hunger, gender equality and clean energy. It is worth mentioning that a number of foreign researchers participated in the online conference.
