College of Medicine, University of Al-Qadisiyah held a symposium on genetic analysis in diagnosis and treatment of breast and ovarian cancers.
The symposium, in which a number of researchers and specialists participated, reviewed the need to conduct genetic analyzes (BRCA1 and BRCA2) with patients of cancer, taking advantage from modern gene therapy and using it to reduce the consequences of cancer.
