College of Agriculture and Marshes, University of Thi-Qar announced on establishing Agricultural research Station for scientific research of the faculty members, researchers and students of postgraduate and university studies in Al-Gharaf area, Nasiriya Province, dean of the College, Dr. Sadiq Thajib said.
Dr. Thajib added that the area which the center will be establish is fertility and salt free with good irrigation sources from River of Gharraf to conduct scientific research for students and faculty members besides establishing private facilities in the College as well as stations for breeding of cows and sheep, crops field cultivation as well as a station for research palm trees and horticulture.
