College of Environmental Sciences and Technologies, University of Mosul discussed a master dissertation on evaluating the effectiveness of some natural products against bacterial strains that cause food poisoning diseases by the postgraduate student, Mrs. Intisar Saleh Al-Jubouri.

The dissertation aimed at separating and identifying of a number of active compounds present in the tissues of Polygonum Persicaria, as well as Fatty ac.

The dissertation demonstrated a number of fatty acids in the petroleum ether extract.
